Lesley J. Boucher, Managing Director
Lesley Boucher helps leaders build high performance organizations capable of achieving sustainable results. Using an integrated systems approach, Ms Boucher works with C-level executives and management teams to align business processes and management systems to meet client needs. She brings more than 20 years of experience as an executive consultant and senior manager in the public and private sector to her present position. Prior to joining the Pensare Group, Ms. Boucher ran the Operations Division of Galt Associates (a drug safety software development firm), where she was responsible for product management, quality assurance, customer support and marketing. In less than two years, Ms. Boucher was able to reduce Operations staff by 40 percent, while substantially increasing productivity in marketing (delivering a complete rebrand including a redesign of the corporate website and marketing materials), refocused the customer care team to perform improved account management, and delivered quality procedures to meet regulatory requirements and customer needs. This realignment of operational policies with overall strategic corporate goals culminated in the successful sale of Galt Associates to Cerner Corporation in 2006. Ms. Boucher also has experience as an executive consultant managing strategic planning, human resource development and special research/collaboration projects in the biotechnology, health, education, and high-tech sectors.
She has assisted leaders of corporations and government agencies in building a shared vision for the future of their organization, combining market research, financial analysis and sound planning techniques to deliver practical solutions to complex problems. For example, Ms. Boucher spent 10 years as an Executive with the Government of Canada. As a member of an elite 8-person management team, she researched and elicited social/economic information, analyzed divergent viewpoints from the public and private sectors, and presented a summation of unbiased strategic and tactical actions to the Prime Minister and other senior government officials. Earlier in her career, Ms. Boucher served as an “executive on loan” to the World Bank for four years where she formulated and advocated the interests of Canada to a 24-person Board representing 180+ member countries jointly responsible for overall financial/business strategy and allocation of $20B in annual lending to developing countries worldwide. Ms. Boucher holds a BA from Queen’s University in Ontario, and a Masters in Economics from the University of British Columbia. She is certified by Achievement Seminars International (ASI) as a Facilitator and the Total Quality Institute (TQI) as a Quality Process Advisor.
